Valicia is a name you’ll sometimes hear USAble’s business automation and web teams mention when developing or enhancing a website or application. Valicia isn’t one person — it’s the nickname given to the dynamic duo of Val Adams and Alicia Hrdlicka. The two business systems analysts are adept at ensuring that new or enhanced website features are user-friendly and do what they’re designed to do.
Their success — and nickname — derive from their good working relationship and complementary skills. Val’s extensive project management experience and Alicia’s training and expertise as a web designer cover all the bases for providing our customers with an optimal web experience.
“Val’s knowledge makes testing a lot easier,” says Alicia. “For example, she suggested we do end-to-end testing of user stories instead of testing each story for our new AutoPay feature. It’s a much smarter approach to test that way.”
Val appreciates Alicia’s visual sense. “She’s good at coming up with designs that get the conversation started about how a webpage should look,” she says. “Her designer’s eye also allows her to see details that may not be obvious to others.”
