USAble Life Continues to Support OneJax Institute

USAble Life continued our nearly 20-year support of OneJax Institute by being a sponsor of the Humanitarian Dinner on May 4 in Jacksonville, Fla. This annual event is a long-standing Jacksonville tradition. It’s an evening where business, civic, and faith leaders and friends come together to celebrate individuals who have demonstrated remarkable commitment to improving the lives of others in the community and to raise money for OneJax.

Sol Brotman, vice president of national clinical operations and founding chairman of OneJax said, “OneJax’s role is to be the ethical center of our city and state. That role and the need for this vision, which is shared by USAble Life, has expanded greatly in the past 18 years.”

OneJax, an Institute of the University of North Florida, is a nonprofit organization that strives to promote diversity as the foundation for a strong community. OneJax works to educate, advocate, and build community to promote respect and understanding and advance the values and importance of inclusion, equity, and diversity throughout Florida. Programs like OneYouth and high school and collegiate activities on campus are key components in assisting at-risk youth. Adults are able to participate in their Civil Discourse and Community Conversations programs and Community Suppers in partnership with the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce.
