USAble Life’s Arkansas Dental Team Donates Time at Free Dental Clinic

At USAble Life, our mission is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, especially those in our communities. We understand that donating time through volunteer activities is one way to make good on our mission, so we proudly offer a Volunteer Time Off (VTO) program.

When it comes to making a difference, our employees don’t just talk the talk. VTO allows them to work together as a team and give back. On April 14 and 15, the Arkansas Dental team — Stephanie Merritt, Steven Seymour, and Sheila Ward — volunteered at the annual Arkansas Mission of Mercy (ArMOM) two-day dental clinic in Conway, Ark.

ArMOM was founded by the Arkansas State Dental Association in 2006 and provides free dental care to underserved Arkansans regardless of income. The dental services are provided by a host of volunteers and sponsors. This year, 621 dedicated volunteers cared for 916 patients and performed $990,469.86 worth of donated dental care. The average value per patient was $1,081.30.

This was just one of the many VTO opportunities our teammates have participated in this year. If you’re interested in working for a company that values giving back and making a difference, visit our Career Page for current openings.
